Description

This crack might be seen as a variation in the timing of the Coachman's Crack. Rather than cracking next to your head, it will crack in front of you. This crack serves a good introduction to doing cutbacks. Cutback techniques are cracks where the motion of the whip is reversed in order to throw a loop into the thong.

How To

  1. Start with the whip laying out behind you (as if to do a Cattleman's Crack)
  2. Swing the whip forward, but stop your arm at about 45 deg past your legs
  3. Allow the thong to swing over itself and form a loop
  4. After the loop has formed, continue the upward swing of your arm to complete the crack
