Overhand Flick
Description
With a motion similar to throwing a ball, this it typically a good crack for beginners to work on. This basic technique works well with longer bullwhips 8-10ft long.

Post-Requisites
How To
- Start with the whip laying out straight behind you, and your arm stretched out behind you as well
- Pull the whip forward, being careful to keep the handle pointing backwards (this should feel a lot like throwing a ball)
- As your forearm straightens out at the end of your "throw" straighten your wrist out so that the handle of your whip points forward towards your imaginary target.
