Description

The Sydney Flash is a three crack pattern consisting of an Overhand Flick, the second crack of a Fast Figure Eight, and a Cattleman's Crack. It is most commonly done with the flick aimed forwards, but it can be done backwards, cross-body, and in most other orientations as well. Because the overhand flick/fast figure eight combination is what makes this trick unique, that two crack section is sometimes just called the Sydney Flash as well.

Pre-Requisites

Post-Requisites

  • Repeating Sydney Flashes
  • Sydney Flash in other directions/planes

How To

  1. Start with an Overhand Flick
  2. Directly after the flick, do the second crack of the Fast Figure Eight
  3. Follow through after the Fast Figure Eight and swing up into a Cattleman's Crack
    • After the Cattleman's Crack you can follow through and pause your arm in midair behind you to set up for another Sydney Flash
