Description

With a motion similar to throwing a ball, this it typically a good crack for beginners to work on. This basic technique works well with longer bullwhips 8-10ft long.

Pre-Requisites

None

Post-Requisites

How To

  1. Start with the whip laying out straight behind you, and your arm stretched out behind you as well
  2. Pull the whip forward, being careful to keep the handle pointing backwards in a straight line with the rest of the whip (this should feel a lot like throwing a ball or maybe a javelin)
  3. As your forearm straightens out at the end of your "throw" straighten your wrist out so that the handle of your whip points forward towards your imaginary target.
